Hailing for the almighty land down under (that’s Australia for those of you unfamiliar with Men at Work), the Indie-pop duo, Ellington, has been gathering buzz for their emotionally - layered pop songs overflowing with love and peace. Like John Lennon, if he was from Melbourne… and less focused on writing songs about Yoko.
Epidemic…Over
Reigning from Central QLD Australia, Epidemic…Over are a promising , energetic four piece combining hard hitting guitars and emotional vocals held together by a tight and driving rhythm section. Boasting an impressive live performance, Epidemic…Over’s blend of alternate and progressive rock is laced with memorable hooks and sing-a-long chorus’s that will leave you gasping for more.
Fusillade
Fusillade is an alternative rock group who combine their rock royalty influences and spit them out with crunchy guitar riffs, slamming bass lines, smashing drums and inspirational lyrics. Their debut album “Invitation to the lost and weary” is set for release in November ‘08 and is a true testament to the good old days of rock ‘n’ roll.

MilitiA is one of the most dynamic and energetic bands in Central QLD. With heavy unique sounding, punk/rock influences, they provide an explosive performance for any onlooker…wild and something different to the rest, MilitiA just maybe what your ears have been waiting for…
The Shortfall
The Shortfall have melded a style that with one breath will hook you with a stirringly emotive melody, and with the next, have you tapping your feet or speeding down the freeway. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical influences, this four-piece from Rockhampton, QLD combine guitar driven riffs with soaring power-pop vocal harmonies, to create a high energy mixture of rock, pop and grunge.

The Silence is an alternative rock band from Rockhampton in Central QLD. Their music is fresh, original and radiates ROCK! With a performance described as electrifying and engaging,why this four-piece won second place at the 2005 music oz awards with their track “The Jars”.
Whyte Zebra
The vividly unique sound created in the genre of acoustic folk rock has become Whyte Zebra’s distinct calling card. Based in Central QLD, the trio is one of the hardest working bands around, resulting in an ever expanding loyal fan-base that spreads far and wide. With their debut album almost ready to drop, and the buzz getting louder, Whyte Zebra had not one, but two top ten tracks in the Triple J Unearthed Roots charts.
Kissing the Blue Lady
Kissing the Blue Lady are Danielle Rigden and Kiesha Kiely. The collaboration of these two unique beings has resulted in a beautiful and distinctive expression. Combining brilliant lyrics and angelically pure voices, KtBL paint a ‘tableau vivant’ - living pictures of their experiences.
