Can I bring my pro camera or video camera into the event?
No. If you own a professional, high quality camera with zoom lenses, please leave it at home. Video recorders are also prohibited, along with tripod stands. These will not be allowed into the event in accordance with privacy acts.
Can I bring my handheld digital camera or mobile phone into the event?
Yes. You can take photos of friends during the day, with standard point and shoot cameras. No band shots are allowed, and no reproducing of such photos are permitted. If staff on the day feel your camera is of high quality, it will not be allowed into the event. If you are uncertain, leave your camera at home to prevent having it confiscated.
My phone/digital camera also video records. Can I still take it into the event?
Yes, but if you are caught recording or taking photos of bands you face having it confiscated and not returned. We do not condone video recording of any performances.
I’m representing a magazine, can I take photos for my articles?
You must contact Coconet Classic staff regarding this WELL IN ADVANCE. Any photographers on the day who are not approved, face having their equipment confiscated and hefty fines.
