The Coconet Classic isn’t just a massive music festival, there’s loads of attractions for you to sink your teeth into.
For the more adventurous there’s the Australian Kitesurfing Championships, BMX, Skate and Scooter competitions, and for the less daring, check out the beach markets, rides, Coconet Cuties, live music, food stalls, face painting, artist displays or you could even just relax by the water!
Kiteboarding
This year the Coconet Classic will be holding BOTH a freestyle kitesurfing competition (open to all competitors) and the National Kitesurfing Titles!! So whether you’re a serious competitor or a social rider the Coconet Classic is for you!!
Skateboarding
The Coconet Classic’s Skate competition is styled around park and half-pipe styled skating. Competitors are judged on variety, difficulty, consistency and dedication to their tricks. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been skating for or your level of skill, the team at Coconet aim to award prizes to both professional and amateur entrants, with various cash and product prizes being dispersed to the winners as well as encouragement awards, best slams and best trick. With workshops, pro demo’s and the opportunity to rub shoulders with the countries best skaters, who knows where the Coconet Classic can take you!

Coconet Cuties
Coconet is looking for THREE ladies to become the face of the Coconet Classic for the 2009. As a winning entrant, you hold the title of ‘Coconet Cutie’ for twelve months, gaining publicity in many media forms.
BMX
The Coconet Classic’s BMX competition is based around freestyle riding, combining street and park disciplines. Competitors are able to use the skate park to perform their maneuvers, and are judged on difficulty, consistency, variety and dedication to their tricks, as well as enthusiasm and team spirit. Prizes are awarded to the top three place-getters in each division, as well as best trick, best slam and encouragement. Whether you’re a professional or beginner, the competition is designed to award all skill levels.
Scooters
The Coconet Classic holds one of the only recognised Scooter competitions in Australia. The last major event was held at the X-games in February 2007, with only a few minor comps held around the rest of the country.
Best Dressed
Calling all wanna-be superheros, cartoon characters and plain ol’ weirdos. Here’s your chance to drag your slightly odd infatuations out of the closet, and into the spotlight!
